When you upload a build, you'll get instant, structured feedback in the Developer Portal instead of waiting for manual review — each failing check shows a clear error code, explanation, and step-by-step fix instructions. The same data is also available via API, so you can run these checks in your own CI/CD pipeline.
Improved Rating Badge Previews

We’ve updated the Setapp rating badge modal on the customer reviews page to ensure design previews accurately reflect your choices. Now, when you switch between Black and White color options, the design previews update instantly to show exactly how the badge will look.

New

Added requestPendingUpdate(completionHandler:) and applyPendingUpdate(completionHandler:) on macOS. Your app can now check whether Setapp has a newer version ready to install and trigger the update on its own schedule — without waiting for the user to update manually.

[SetappAI] Added a links API — setappAI.links.purchaseURL(clientID:returnURL:). It lets you pass a return URL so the user comes back to your app after completing the AI credit purchase.

Fixed

[SetappAI] Fixed video generation errors from Vertex AI (Veo) models. The provider's error message and numeric error code were previously lost during decoding and are now correctly passed through.

[SetappAI] Added text-to-speech to the audio API — setappAI.audio.voices(parameters:) lists the available voices, and setappAI.audio.speech(parameters:) streams synthesized speech.

[iOS] App activation via QR code now works on the first scan after a reinstall. Previously, it could require scanning the QR code more than once.
